Chris Schwartz joined AMN Healthcare in February 2005 and became Chief Accounting Officer in January 2022.
Mr. Schwartz leads a very experienced and determined team responsible for accounting operations, SEC reporting, billing & accounts receivable, corporate payroll, and cash management. He and his team also play a key role in the evaluation and successful integration of companies acquired by AMN and completion of strategic financial transactions.
Prior to AMN, Mr. Schwartz was an executive finance leader for Gensia Sicor/Teva Pharmaceuticals, Metabasis Therapeutics, and Hughes Space & Communications, and began his career in auditing with a specialized public accounting firm in California. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from San Diego State University and a Master of Business Administration from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California and is a CPA (inactive) in California.
