Janet Sheiner is responsible for AMN Healthcare’s professional liability, workers’ compensation, and casualty insurance programs. Additionally, she leads the Facilities and Corporate Travel departments. Prior to joining AMN Healthcare in 2011, she held leadership roles in ethics, compliance, and risk management at Petco, American Specialty Health, and Anthem (WellPoint). She is known for building and rebuilding key corporate functions in large-to-mid-sized organizations.
Ms. Sheiner has more than 20 years of experience building and growing productive teams, maintaining strategic internal and external partnerships, and championing organizational change. She was recognized in 2013 with the AMN Values in Practice (VIP) Award for Trust.
Ms. Sheiner earned a degree in Political Science from the University of California, Irvine. She is one of the founding members of The Kitchen Project Tijuana, which is a collaborative art lab focused on fostering connections between the visual, culinary, and performing arts with an emphasis on cross border issues.
