Jay Carpenter serves as Vice President of Human Resources Business Partners and is responsible for leading AMN Healthcare’s team that directly supports business leaders and supports centers of excellence in Talent Management, Organizational Design and Effectiveness, Change Management, and alignment of talent resources to support and drive the company’s success. Mr. Carpenter has been with AMN since 2010 and has supported every business unit and support organization during that time. In his 30-year HR career, he has held several HR leadership positions in the entertainment, hospitality and specialty retail industries, including 16 years with the Walt Disney Company, as well as roles with The GAP, PacSun and Starwood Vacation Ownership - Hawaii.
Mr. Carpenter earned his Bachelor of Science in Radio-TV-Film from The University of Texas at Austin as well as a Masters of HR from Rollins College, Winter Park, FL. He supports several local food banks, and he volunteers his time with the local SPCA.
