John M. Rothwell joined AMN Healthcare in 2022 and serves as Senior Vice President of Sales, where he is responsible for enterprise and strategic workforce solutions revenue growth. Mr. Rothwell has executive oversight for sales, sales enablement, implementation, and partnerships for AMN Healthcare’s managed and outsourced services and technology enabled solutions.
Mr. Rothwell comes to AMN with an extensive background in healthcare cost management and performance improvement. Prior to AMN, Mr. Rothwell served as National Vice President and Commercial Leader for Premier, Inc., having executive and general management responsibility for Premier’s supply chain services and enterprise solutions business growth. Additionally, Mr. Rothwell held several positions with increasing responsibility while at Premier across strategic sourcing and business development.
Mr. Rothwell received his Bachelor of Science from the College of Health and Human Science at Purdue University and holds an MBA from the McColl Graduate School of Business at Queens University. Mr. Rothwell is a member of the Board of Directors for the South Charlotte YMCA, encompassing two YMCA branches that focus on youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.
