AMN Healthcare Earns the Highest Measure of Quality — Again
The AMN Healthcare commitment to quality in our service to healthcare organizations has been reaffirmed in the most meaningful way: renewal of our Healthcare Staffing Services Corporate Certification by the nation’s top healthcare accreditation organization, the Joint Commission.
Joint Commission certification is the highest distinction AMN Healthcare can receive for the quality of our services to healthcare organizations and their patients.
The Joint Commission accredits more than 22,000 U.S. healthcare organizations and programs, and in 2006 it began providing Corporate Certification for Healthcare Staffing. AMN Healthcare was the first company to receive accreditation. Since that time, AMN Healthcare has progressively expanded its list of Joint Commission certified divisions, which today includes all AMN Healthcare services that place nurses and allied health professionals.
AMN Healthcare was recertified after a five-day survey by the Joint Commission, covering leadership, human resources, information management and performance management and improvement. Team members from throughout the company took part in the complex preparation for the survey, led by Vice President, Clinical and Education Solutions Paulette Anest, MSN, RN.
The surveyor for the Joint Commission noted that AMN’s core value of constant improvement has clearly shown in the 17 years of AMN’s Joint Commission certification, further supporting confidence in AMN clinicians and the high level of care they patients and their families.
