Yet, for those who go above and beyond, there are special recognitions that shine a spotlight on their exceptional contributions. Today, we celebrate Jana Anderson, the Q1 DAISY Award Winner, a remarkable nurse leader whose story is bound to inspire you.

What Are the DAISY Awards?

The DAISY Awards were established to honor the superhuman work nurses do every day. Named after J. Patrick Barnes, who passed away due to complications of an autoimmune disease, the award recognizes nurses who provide extraordinary care. The DAISY Foundation was created by his family as a way to thank nurses for making a profound difference in patients' lives.
