
Hot Job: Cancer Registrar (CTR)
Job Description
The title of Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) refers to professionals who have been certified by the National Cancer Registrars Association (NCRA). The CTR’s role is to create a record of the patient’s complete healthcare history by compiling data from medical records, physician’s offices, and other cancer registries. The data is put together into a unified document including the patient’s full history, diagnosis, treatment, and current status.
Requirements
- CTR certification
- Metriq or ERS experience
- 2-3 years abstracting experience
