You'll need to provide proof of your language assessment, HIPAA training completion, and medical interpreter certification. These documents help us verify your qualifications.

Step 5. Interview

Meet with your recruiter to go over contract details and onboarding instructions. This step ensures you're set up for success from day one.

Step 6. Contract

Once everything is confirmed, you'll sign your contract. After that, you're officially part of the AMN Healthcare interpreter community.

Step 7. Setup

You'll receive your login credentials for our interpreting platform. In-person interpreters will also receive an official AMN interpreter badge.

Interpreter Qualifications

Sign Language Interpreters
- National certification (NAD Level 4+, RID CSC, RID CDI, CI/CT, NIC, BEI Advanced)
- 2+ years of interpreting experience
- Knowledge of state laws and the ADA
- Strong understanding of NAD/RID Code of Conduct and Deaf Culture
Spoken Language Interpreters
- Fluency in English and target language
- 6+ months of experience or 40+ hours of training
- National medical interpreter certification or proficiency
- Knowledge of Medical Interpreter Ethics and Standards
