The Stanislaus County Health Services Agency (HSA) is seeking a highly motivated Assistant Medical Director to join their dedicated team in this newly created position to drive quality care in the Stanislaus County Community!The Position 
  • The Assistant Medical Director will be committed to streamlining operations and transitioning services in-house, balancing responsibilities equally between clinical and administrative duties.
  • This position reports directly to the Medical Director and collaborates closely with clinic leaders to ensure seamless operations and high-quality care delivery.
  • This leader will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the clinical staff at designated ambulatory clinics embody and execute the organization’s mission, goals, and values.
  • Ideal candidates should be deeply passionate about making a meaningful impact on community healthcare. They must be innovative, engaging, and skilled at managing diverse personalities. Experience with refugee programs is highly desirable.
  • This newly established role offers exceptional opportunities for executive-level growth, aligning with the organization's ongoing expansion and commitment to sustained progress.
Requirements
  • Medical degree and board certification in Family Practice, Pediatrics, or Internal Medicine are required.
  • A valid California medical license or eligibility for a valid California Physician License is required.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a primary care clinical setting providing direct patient care is required, along with at least one year of leadership experience.
  • Prior experience working in a Federally Qualified Health Center is strongly preferred.
Compensation Range
  • The base salary range for this position is $173,000 to $259,000 annually. In addition, a leader may be eligible for other benefits, including but not limited to health insurance coverage, retirement benefits, and bonuses. The total compensation for the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The base salary range listed above is a good faith determination of potential base compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
