  • The Director of Emergency Department will be responsible for the clinical practice of nursing and the delivery of patient care throughout both the 50-bed acute care department and multiple freestanding Emergency Departments and will oversee a total of approximately 180+ FTEs. The organization will be adding additional freestanding clinics as they continue to grow in the market in the next upcoming year. 
  • Reporting to the ACNO and CNO, the Director will oversee the development of staff competency through assessment and education, compliance with regulatory and professional standards, improvement of quality, service levels, safety, customer satisfaction, and collaborative relationships.
  • The collaborative leader will demonstrate a strong visionary mindset, display excellent patient care and service, as well as bring energy and focus as it pertains to the execution of daily tasks within the organization.  
  • Seeking a leader who is rooted in evidence-based practices to achieve outcomes-driven patient experiences and develop strategies and efficiencies around key initiatives, including throughput, length of stay, pediatric mental holds, and patient safety.
  • This leader must bring a strong clinical skillset, demonstrate floor visibility, and can effectively establish positive working relationships with physicians, staff members, and administration throughout multiple freestanding emergency departments. 
  • The ideal candidate will be a growth oriented, visible leader with excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and collaboration skills. Experience with pediatrics with mental health preferred.
Requirements
  • Master’s degree is required. 
  • Active RN license is required. 
  • ED experience is required; pediatric ED experience is strongly preferred. Freestanding ED experience is a plus!
  • Must possess a minimum of five years of related Director level experience. 
Compensation Details?
  • The base salary range for this position is $150,000 to $175,000 annually. In addition, a leader may be eligible for other benefits, including but not limited to health insurance coverage, retirement benefits, and bonuses. The total compensation for the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation.   • The Assistant Director of Pharmacy will serve as a supervising pharmacist and will direct the medications systems and clinical pharmacy services throughout the 485-bed Summerlin Hospital Medical Center (SHMC). 
  • Reporting directly to the Director of Pharmacy, the Assistant Director of Pharmacy will oversee inpatient clinical and operational activities while developing strategies and driving innovative and effective change within the pharmacy. 
  • The Assistant Director will ensure optimal delivery of pharmacy services and compliance initiatives and will be responsible for optimal patient care, medication errors, onboarding, and departmental competencies.
  • The ideal candidate will be a strong, goal-oriented leader with operational experience that is self-directed and has high expectations and the drive to be successful. Additionally, acute care experience within a pharmaceutical setting will be essential to the success of the department. 
  • This leader must excel in fostering relatable leadership and maintaining strong engagement with the staff, and will seek ways to continue improvement in collaboration, communication, and employee engagement. 
  • Seeking a skilled pharmacy leader who is dedicated to leading pharmaceutical services while being passionately engaged in their profession to ensure optimal performance and growth throughout the pharmacy. 
  • This leader will work Monday through Friday, except on holidays, which will be days off.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy is required. 
  • PharmD license is required. 
  • A minimum of five years of related experience is required. 
  • USP797 and USP800 experience and/or willingness to learn is required. 
  • Acute Care experience is strongly preferred; willing to accept extensive retail experience in lieu of acute care experience.
