Join AtlantiCare as the Associate Chief Nursing Officer for Perioperative Services and play a key role in overseeing system-wide perioperative nursing operations in the vibrant setting of Atlantic City, New Jersey.The Position
  • The Associate Chief Nursing Officer for Perioperative Services oversees the clinical, administrative, and financial operations of the Perioperative, Sterile Processing, Pre/Post PACU, Endoscopy/Interventional Radiology, and Operating Room nursing teams at AtlantiCare System's City and Mainland Campuses.
  • This leader will report directly to the Chief Nursing Executive and collaborate closely in a triad partnership with the Chief of Surgery and Chief of Anesthesia.
  • This leader will be responsible for sustaining the day-to-day operations established by the interim leader, with a focus on ongoing improvements in OR efficiency, implementing new scheduling strategies in 2025, and upholding accountability within the team to ensure high standards of patient care.
  • Ideal candidates will be a seasoned surgical nurse leader who can navigate complex challenges, make strategic decisions, and effectively collaborate with physician leaders to drive change.
  • This position will sit at the Mainland Hospital, with regular travel required to the City Hospital location.
Requirements
  • A Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field is required; Doctoral preferred.
  • Active RN required; CNOR certification preferred. 
  • At least eight years of leadership experience in surgical services, with a strong background in managing large, multi-disciplinary teams across multiple hospitals and departments.
Compensation Range
  • The base salary range for this position is $200,000 to $230,000 annually. In addition, a leader may be eligible for other benefits, including but not limited to health insurance coverage, retirement benefits, and bonuses. The total compensation for the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The base salary range listed above is a good faith determination of potential base compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.

Join AtlantiCare as the new AVP of the Neurosciences Service Line and play a key role in establishing service line operations in vibrant Atlantic City, New Jersey!The Position
  • The AVP of the Neurosciences Service Line is responsible for coordination of, planning, implementation, operational oversight and strategic development of the Neuroscience Service Line from a hospital-based, inpatient and ambulatory perspective including the EEG department, and the neurology physician practice and services.
  • Reporting directly to the SVP, Chief Transformation Officer, this leader will oversee approximately four direct reports and work in close collaboration with the Medical Director and other senior leaders in a dyad partnership.
  • This leader will play a key role in assisting senior leadership in finalizing the design plans for the new Neuroscience unit at the City Hospital location. Additionally, they will be responsible for documenting the purpose and expectations of the newly established joint venture. Lastly, they will lead efforts to integrate the Pain Management team into the Neuroscience Service Line.
  • Ideal candidates will be collaborative, hands-on, and highly visible leaders. They must excel in fast-paced environments, be capable of thinking strategically, and have a proven ability to hold teams accountable. Experience in business development and service line management is essential.
  • This position is based at Mainland Hospital, with regular travel to City Hospital required. An onsite presence is mandatory; remote or hybrid work options are not available.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required; A Master's degree in Nursing or Business Administration is required.
  • CCRN or SCRN certification preferred. 
  • A minimum of 10 years of clinical experience in neuroscience and stroke care, combined with at least five years of leadership experience managing the strategy and operations of a service line, is required.
  • Experience in business development & grant proposal writing as well as reporting required. Proficiency in Clinical Applications required. 
  • Membership and active participation in professional organizations such as American Heart Association, American Board of Neurosciences Nursing, or ASET (The Neuro-diagnostic Society).
