The current Vice President, Development, Jeff Miller, CFRE, will retire in January 2025 after nearly 15 years of service. SHC is one of the only community-based integrated healthcare systems in Southeastern Massachusetts providing a full range of high-quality primary care, specialty care, hospital care, and related ancillary services on a coordinated basis delivered at a low cost. This is an outstanding opportunity for a talented, community-focused development professional to join a dynamic, high performing senior leadership team to impact the future of an exceptional community health system and the people it serves.The Position: Reporting directly to the President and Chief Executive Officer, Robert Haffey, the Vice President, Development will provide strategic oversight and direction for Signature Healthcare’s philanthropy and development activity and will be responsible for maintaining and evolving a comprehensive development program to maximize philanthropic support for Signature Healthcare. As the lead fundraising strategist, the Vice President, Development serves as expert counsel to the President & CEO and the Development Advisory Board on fundraising matters and board development. The Vice President, Development is charged with maximizing philanthropic support for the hospital’s programmatic and capital needs through major gifts/pipeline building, capital campaigns, grant writing, and donor/community relations. Working closely with clinical and administrative leadership and staff, and Board members and volunteers, the Vice President, Development identifies and initiates potential opportunities for funding – locally, regionally, and nationally – and uses best practices to ensure long-term, sustainable relationships with the hospital’s donor community.The Ideal Candidate: • Bachelor’s required; Master’s and CFRE preferred.• An accomplished fundraising leader with a minimum of five or more years’ documented success leading a high performing fundraising program as a fundraising executive in a healthcare, academic or human services organization.• Proven track record in major gifts, planned giving, capital campaigns, and corporate relations, including the ability to effectively research, identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward prospects and donors capable of six- and seven-figure gifts, with previous success in securing six-figure gifts.• Successful grant writing experience preferred.• Previous experience working with a Development Committee or a Foundation Board is ideal. This includes board member recruitment, communications and relationship management with Committee/Foundation Board members, and the ability to articulate the purposes and the outcomes of the Committee to major prospects and existing donors.• Previous successful leadership involvement with multi-million-dollar capital campaigns.The Organization:Signature Healthcare (SHC) is an independent, non-profit, community-based healthcare system based in Brockton, Massachusetts. Located approximately 15-20 miles south of greater Boston, and 45 miles north of Providence, Signature Healthcare is the major nonprofit health system dedicated to providing accessible, safe, high quality, high value healthcare services to the city of Brockton and surrounding cities and towns.SHC consists of Brockton Hospital, a full service 216-bed community teaching hospital, and Signature Medical Group, the system's rapidly growing primary care and multispecialty group, Signature Medical Group (SMG), and Brockton Hospital School of Nursing. SMG is multi-specialty physician group of more than 150 physicians practicing in 16 ambulatory locations. Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital is actively seeking a highly skilled leader to join their team in the beautiful city of Brockton, MA as their next Senior Director, Revenue Cycle!The Position 
  • The Senior Director of Revenue Cycle will oversee and support all aspects of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) operations at Signature Healthcare.
  • Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this leader will oversee three to five direct reports and approximately 100 FTEs 
  • This leader will have oversight of Billing, HIM/Medical Records/Coding, Clinical Documentation, Patient Access, Financial Integrity, Customer Service & Cash Applications.
  • This leader will be responsible for establishing KPIs and enhancing the use of dashboards to increase transparency in performance measurement. They will focus on reducing claim denials and, once aligned with the organization, will set clear goals and a vision for the department's future direction.
  • The ideal candidate will be a highly organized, collaborative, and passionate leader with strong mentoring abilities. They should be self-motivated, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate the ability to think strategically and innovatively.
Requirements 
  • Bachelor’s degree is required. 
  • Prior experience in Hospital Revenue Cycle Management is required; experience in Medical Group settings is highly preferred.
