They have a proven ability to drive efficiency, implement innovative programs, and enhance patient care within a complex health system.   • Knowledge of administrative practices normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in health-related field or business administration required. Completion of Master’s degree in Health or Business desired. Professional development courses in health care management.
  • Ten years’ experience in health administration including at least five years in direct ambulatory clinic administration/operations strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of the principles and practices of health planning and management sufficient to manage, direct, and coordinate the operations of multiple clinic sites.

  • The Director of JPE Strategy Development and Academic Funds Flow leads JPE financial, operations, and management processes in close partnership with UT Southwestern.
  • Reporting to the VP of Finance, the Director will work closely with the executive team, department of pediatrics, and JPE Board of Directors.
  • The Director will also be responsible for Physician Compensation Modeling, managing Master Services Agreements, and negotiating critical contracts.
  • Ideal candidates are dynamic, proactive leaders with a proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships and foster open communication across all levels of staff. Exceptional analytical skills and financial expertise are essential for success in this role. Candidates with prior experience in academic finance are highly preferred.
Requirements
  • This role is on-site in Dallas, TX.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
  • A minimum of seven years of professional or office experience is required, with at least two years in a healthcare setting.

  • The Director of Hospitality will oversee facility operations including Nutrition, Environmental Services and Laundry/Linen services.

  • This leader will manage contracted Environmental Services vendors and will oversee all contract terms and specifications while ensuring that all programs are properly aligned with federal, state, and local accreditation standards and compliance expectations. 
  • The Director will plan and direct the orientation of new employees, as well as oversee the ongoing training and educational needs for current staff members. In addition, this leader will be responsible for staffing initiatives including hiring, evaluations, and terminations while evaluations the quality and productivity of employees. 
  • Will collaborate closely with the Vice President, medical staff, administration, nursing, and department heads while also serving as part of the Hazardous Materials and Waste Reduction Committee, Infection Control Committee, and Safety Committee.  
  • Seeking an approachable, hands-on leader who will be equipped to build and maintain a positive and collaborating work environment, in addition to scheduling and holding regular department meetings and performance improvement activities. This individual will foster a strong organizational culture, build rapport, develop succession planning, and create leadership opportunities. 
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality services or related field is required. 
  • A minimum of five years of experience in hospitality service leadership is required.  
  • A Certified Food Manager credential is required.
