Exciting Opportunity to lead supply chain operations as Director, Materials Management with Samaritan Healthcare The Position 
  • The Director of Materials Management will assume responsibility for leading and guiding the Materials Management/Purchasing Department, overseeing personnel, property, and fiscal resources within the department.
  • This position will report to the Chief Administrative Officer and will oversee a team of seven direct reports.
  • The primary focus of this leader will be collaborating with Senior Leadership to design and develop a new Supply Chain system for the new hospital opening in Spring 2026. Moreover, they will play a pivotal role in nurturing and mentoring departmental staff.
  • Seeking candidates who are seasoned leaders in the realm of supply chain and materials management. Should also have a strong financial background. They should exhibit a profound dedication to our service line and embody hands-on, proactive leadership. Will demonstrate visionary thinking and have a forward-looking approach. 
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business with emphasis in Materials Management, or related field required.
  • Must possess a minimum of two or more years’ experience in a managerial position, coupled with at least five years’ experience managing supply chain operations (healthcare preferred).

  • The Director of Quality & Risk Management at Samaritan Healthcare is entrusted with the comprehensive oversight of planning, developing, coordinating, facilitating, and executing organization-wide quality improvement and risk management initiatives.
  • Departmental responsibilities encompass oversight of Quality, Risk Management, Peer Review, Grievance, Compliance, and Infection Prevention.
  • This position will report to the Chief of Patient Care Services and oversee a team of six direct reports.
  • This leader will focus on keeping the department primed for surveys, alongside duties such as evaluating the team and workload, refining the Peer Review process, and collaborating with the legal team to assess and improve the grievance process.
  • The ideal candidates will bring a wealth of experience in survey preparation, distinguishing themselves as Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in quality. They will also have a demonstrated capability to build and maintain robust relationships.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred.
  • Applicants are required to have a minimum of seven years of experience in the healthcare industry, including at least five years dedicated to the development, monitoring, facilitation, and/or presentation of Quality Improvement and Risk Management programs. A minimum of three years in a leadership role is essential.
