  • The Regional Director of Pharmacy Services plays a pivotal role in supporting and collaborating on all aspects of Pharmacy Services for Ballad Health.
  • Responsible for overseeing the Southern region, which includes approximately 10 facilities.
  • Reporting to the Chief Pharmacy Officer, this leader will manage two direct reports.
  • The Director will be instrumental in addressing department vacancies by collaborating with HR on recruitment and retention efforts. Additionally, this leader will drive innovation by introducing new ideas, fostering staff engagement and excitement about the team’s future, and advancing the integration of robotics within the department.
  • This role demands a strategic and innovative leader with exceptional communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills. Previous experience in an academic medical center is preferred. A shared passion for the organization’s mission and goals—along with the ability to inspire the same enthusiasm in staff—will be essential for success.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy and Master's degree in Business Administration or Management is required; PharmD preferred. 
  • Must hold an active pharmacy license.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in institutional pharmacy practice, including at least five years in a leadership role.

North Country Hospital in charming Newport, Vermont is seeking a Director of Pharmacy to join their Team! Offering a $10,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance to help you make the move!The Position
  • The Director of Pharmacy will manage all administrative duties associated with overseeing pharmacy staff and spearhead strategic planning initiatives aimed at enhancing future pharmacy efficiencies.
  • Reporting directly to the CNO and Vice President, Patient Care Services this Director will supervise a team of seven full-time employees.
  • This leader will conduct a comprehensive review of the current 340B program to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and implement necessary updates. They will focus on expanding services, including unit-based pharmacy initiatives and this leader will be dedicated to team building and revitalizing staff morale to cultivate a positive workplace culture.
  • Ideal candidates will foster a sense of belonging within the team and possess the ability to multitask and build effective working relationships across all departments. Previous working experience with the 340B program is a plus!
  • This leader will work onsite and is expected to be on call one weekend per month.
  • This position will offer a $10,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Hospital Pharmacy Administration required; Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) preferred.
  • Active VT Pharmacy license required.
  • Minimum of three years' experience working in a hospital pharmacy required.
