Join Harbor Health Services Inc., a non-profit public healthcare agency, as Senior Medical Director, Elder Service Plan (PACE), in Eastern Massachusetts! The Position
  • The Senior Medical Director ESP provides leadership and management for the clinical staff of the Elder Service Plan-Program for All Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) Centers. 
  • Reporting to the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Elder Service Plan, the Senior Medical Director will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care while overseeing routine health maintenance, management of chronic conditions, and acute illnesses. 
  • The Senior Medical Director will focus on current PACE initiatives including clinical care, patient access, utilization management, patient scheduling, and financial operations.  
  • This individual will collaborate closely to improve current processes, ensure compliance with regulatory bodies, and maintain a patient-focused approach in operations. 
  • The Senior Medical Director will be responsible for the implementation and management of provider initiatives including provider contracts/compensation plans, provider engagement/experience, training, orientations plans, and credentialing processes throughout the PACE program. 
  • This leader will represent Harbor when collaborating with PACE organizations, community mental health centers, social service agencies, and area hospital and provider networks. 
Requirements
  • MD/DO is required. Strong preference for residency training in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
  • Must possess a minimum of five years of primary care experience is required. 
  • Must possess a minimum of three years of administrative and/or leadership experience is required.  
  • Previous elder services and/or community health care center experience is strongly preferred.

Seeking a mission-focused physician leader to join Harbor Health Services Inc. as Senior Medical Director in Eastern Massachusetts! The Position
  • The Senior Medical Director, Community Health Centers, will be responsible for the direction and leadership of clinical practices across Harbor Health’s Community Health Centers.  
  • Reporting to the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Community Health Centers, the Senior Medical Director will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care while ensuring safety, quality, and patient satisfaction throughout the organization. 
  • The Senior Medical Director will advise the CEO and compliance executive leaders on important updates regarding risk management, quality, and malpractice claims and will be responsible for the overseeing and maintaining the current quality Improvement plan. 
  • This individual will collaborate closely with other Harbor senior leadership including the Senior VP, Site Practice Managers, Director of Nursing, and Medical Directors to improve current processes, establish performance standards, and ensure compliance pertaining to local, state, and federal regulations. 
  • The Senior Medical Director will be responsible for the implementation and management of provider initiatives including provider contracts/compensation plans, provider engagement/experience, training, orientations plans, and credentialing processes. 
  • This leader will represent the organization when collaborating with associations, institutions, and government bodies at the local, state, and national level. In addition, this individual will partner with other providers, including community health centers, community mental health centers, social service agencies, and area hospitals/provider networks. 
Requirements
  • MD/DO is required. Strong preference for residency training in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
  • Must possess a minimum of ten years of clinical practice experience in addition to a minimum of ten years of management experience is required.  
  • Clinical experience within a community health center and/or ambulatory setting is required.
