Cath lab personnel provide care in conjunction with the Cardiologist and Cardiology Fellows. The charge staff member does not have a patient assignment. BLS and ACLS are required. Our cath lab has 5 cardiology procedure suites, and one peripheral vascular suite, in addition to a hybrid OR suite. Skills that will be utilized: Assess and monitor patient during diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath procedures, diagnostic and peripheral vascular procedures. Sedation, anticoagulant administration, management of STEMI, shock and critical patients. Experience with IABP, Impella, Ekos, MacLab hemodynamics, Rotablator, IVUS, Philips imaging system, Epic EHR, CSI atherectomy, PCI.

Emory Crawford Long Hospital was renamed “Emory University Hospital Midtown”, effective February 13, 2009. However, as part of Emory’s commitment to honor a more than 100-year history of the original name, ‘Crawford W. Long Memorial Hospital’ is retained on exterior monuments. The practice of nursing requires specialized knowledge, judgment, and skills to provide care to groups and individuals. The RN utilizes knowledge derived from the principles of biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. All care is provided based on the concepts inherent in the model of care for TCH which promotes an on-going partnership between patients and families and the team of healthcare providers. The care is culturally based and age specific. The RN adheres to American Nursing Association (ANA) code of ethics and to the scope of practice described in the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.

Cath Lab RN needed for 686-bed facility on a 43-acre campus. 3 Cath Labs, 1 Peripheral Vascular Cath Lab, 3 EP Labs, 1 Hybrid OR Music City offers art, music, beer and food festivals, Tennessee Titans football, Nashville Predators hockey, and a variety of college sports. Music takes center stage with events like the Americana Music Festival, Full Moon Pickin’ Parties, and Musicians Corner.
