Shift: 7a-5:30p / Rotating Call – 2-3 nights per week and call every other weekend and holidays is applicable Experience with scrub duties preferred General Information: Beds: 5 Minimum years of experience required? 1 year Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: Patients in need of emergent cardiac interventions Patient Ratios: 1:1 Required Licensure & Certifications: RN: BLS & ACLS Cath Lab Tech: BLS & ACLS RT and RCIS are NOT required per Management 5.23.23 Skills required: Circulate procedures Pre-op and Post procedure Care Support on the Unit: Charge nurse Technology/Equipment: EMR: Yes IV pumps: Yes Medication dispensing: Yes Monitors: Yes Floating: If yes, where? None Orientation: 1 week Scheduling: Weekend rotation: Call, every other weekend On call? If so, what is that schedule? Call 2-3 nights per week and call every other weekend and holidays is applicable Holiday Expectations: 24 hour call RTO Approval: through manager Shift times: 7:00-5:30 Schedule cycle: 4 10-hour shifts Other notes: Scrub Color: Scrubs provided

Cath lab personnel provide care in conjunction with the Cardiologist and Cardiology Fellows. The charge staff member does not have a patient assignment. BLS and ACLS are required. Our cath lab has 5 cardiology procedure suites, and one peripheral vascular suite, in addition to a hybrid OR suite. Skills that will be utilized: Assess and monitor patient during diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath procedures, diagnostic and peripheral vascular procedures. Sedation, anticoagulant administration, management of STEMI, shock and critical patients. Experience with IABP, Impella, Ekos, MacLab hemodynamics, Rotablator, IVUS, Philips imaging system, Epic EHR, CSI atherectomy, PCI.
