Our Renal Unit is a 36-bed unit that cares for our patients with kidney-related conditions such as acute or chronic kidney disease that sometimes requires renal replacement therapy. Nurses in this area have a 1:6 ratio and specialize in post-hemodialysis and ongoing peritoneal dialysis. This unit values robust collaboration with community nephrologists, family practice providers, and hospitalists to offer the best care possible for our renal patients. This team is dedicated to supporting patients in every step of their journey, from diagnosis to treatment and beyond.

RN will be assigned to one HCA hospital in the area as their primary facility and float to others as volumes shift or we need coverage for a call-in/vacation.

RN for acute dialysis unit /Therapeutic Apheresis unit (will float between the 2 units), need to flex 8/9/10/12H as needed with call required . Apheresis experience preferred but not required. 1 day of call every 7 days w/weekend call rotation .Prior exp. in large teaching fac. req. Must have experience in Acute unit working with very sick patients. EPIC experience from within the past 2 years is required and nonnegotiable. Monday to Sunday Bi-weekly Orientations on Monday. IVS to OFFER This facility requires ALL work history information (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) to be complete in order to submit. Please ensure all employment gaps over 30 days are explained. Covid and Flu declinations accepted- please have either proof or declinations in packet. No block schedules for any reason. Public Transportation is NOT accessible in this area, please ensure you have reliable transportation, personal vehicle or rental vehicle are strongly recommended. As a valued member of this nursing team, you will care for patients with a wide range of conditions including complex cases. Position responsible for monthly clinic visits for home hemo and peritoneal dialysis patients. Also will be responsible for training peritoneal dialysis to patients prior beginning therapy at home. May travel with other home dialysis staff to same day outreaches. Vehicle provided
