Scope of role: Charge RN duties. Education of RN staff. Preceptor of new RNs and travel RNs. Monitoring, circulating and scrubbing all EP procedures. Assists with inventory ordering. Scheduling of EP staff. Vets out next days cases for proper pre orders, medication requirements. Ensures room runs efficiently and oversees turnover

350 bed Level 1 Trauma center and Teaching hospital, Comprehensive Stroke Center. • Number of Beds: 3 rooms for EP • Equipment: Siemens, Cardio Solution; Stereotaxis • EMR: McKesson Cardiology & Cerner • Must Have Skills/Experience: 2+ years of working experience in an EP Lab • Preferred Skillset/Experience: Ablation (EP studies, A fib, Flutter, SVT) Pacemakers insert and removal, Leadless PM, Watchman, Loop recorders

Emory Crawford Long Hospital was renamed “Emory University Hospital Midtown”, effective February 13, 2009. However, as part of Emory’s commitment to honor a more than 100-year history of the original name, ‘Crawford W. Long Memorial Hospital’ is retained on exterior monuments.
