Maintains current knowledge of medications and their correct administration based on age of the patient and his or her clinical condition. Meets charge nurse expectations as assigned. Meets professional behavior expectations and guest services expectations. Monitors hemodynamic status of patient and correctly interpret the results. Nursing documentation must reflect comprehensive understanding of the nursing process. Performs head-to-toe assessment on all patients and reassessments per policy. This includes pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient populations. Prepares, administers, monitors and discontinues IV fluids. Provides a professional environment and professional appearance while on hospital grounds. Willingly performs other duties and innovations as assigned.
