14 bed ICU/IMC unit (with peds beds) 30 Bed medical unit Up to 20 bed Surgical unit (usually runs up to 15) Family Birthing unit Special Care Nursery OR and Ambulatory Care Unit Emergency Department (currently about 52 patients per day, many of which are high acuity) Cardiovascular Lab – but only emergent cases and no open heart currently. Additionally we have our own Laboratory with 4 current MT/MLT travelers. Level I Cardiac Center Level II Stroke Center Level III Adult Trauma Center Level III Pediatric Trauma Center

This department provides triage, treatment and support for trauma and emergency patients of all ages in an acute care setting. If the department is designated as a trauma site, the hours and expenses related to triage and treatment of trauma patients is included. However, the hours and expenses related to the administration and support of the Trauma program and it’s services (i.e. Trauma registry, trauma coordinators) should not be included here. Job Summary LINE OF AUTHORITY: RN II, Emergency Department – Director of Emergency Department Licenses and Certifications Professionalism and Self-Development Education and Qualifications EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: At least one year Registered Nurse experience within the last 24 months and acute critical experience within the last 12 months or EMT and ED Tech with a minimum of 2 years experience & in good standing.
