his department provides triage, treatment and support for trauma and emergency patients of all ages in an acute care setting. If the department is designated as a trauma site, the hours and expenses related to triage and treatment of trauma patients is included. However, the hours and expenses related to the administration and support of the Trauma program and it’s services (i.e. Trauma registry, trauma coordinators) should not be included here. This is a 30 bed unit. Resources include: MD, PA, RT, EKG Techs, Phlebotomists, Ed Techs. ER RN MUST have STRONG ER experience, MUST have ER travel experience **Please only send pre-closed candidates that can accept if offered. • ORIENTATION DATE: 1/7/25 13 Weeks • SHIFT: 12 hours rotating – 7a-7/9a-9p/10a-10p/11a-11p (WILL WORK EACH and EVERY ONE of the shifts listed, as needed by the hospital) CERTS REQUIRED: BLS and ACLS (AHA only), PALS (AHA only) or ENPC, NIHSS Certs preferred: CEN, TNCC Years of experience required: 2+ years ER experience required, highly prefer 3-5 years. Prefer some Trauma experience and Pediatrics experience is STRONGLY preferred. EMR: Epic preferred. MUST have superior references – all fields must be scored in the highest capacity!
