Rarely cares for Pediatric patients. Certifications/Skills required: BLS, ACLS, Telemetry, Ventilator Management, Swans, CCRN. RN must have at least 2 years of ICU experience; if a work day is missed (e.g., sick call), it must be made up. No nasal, tongue or eyebrow piercing (one piercing in ears is okay. No visible tattoos. Special medications on the unit: Unit Dose System, Nothing special; usual ICU Drips. Special procedures: Nothing special, regular ICU procedures. The PCU is a 31 bed unit for the care of adult and pediatric patients requiring cardiac monitoring and frequent observations. The PCU Provides specialized intermediate level care.
