Concord Med Surg/Tele RN – B4 12hr nights 36 13 weeks Position Description: •> B4 Med Surg/Tele •> MUST HAVE CURRENT CA LIC AT TIME OF SUBMISSION •> Special skills required : med surg/tele experience •> Pt population : may include but are not limited to dysrhythmias; coronary artery disease; unstable angina; congestive heart failure; rule out myocardial infarction; syncope; metabolic and electrolyte abnormalities; renal failure and/or diabetes mellitus associated with cardiac disease; rule out myocardial infarction; surgical patients requiring telemetry monitoring; medical patients with diagnoses, which may include, but are not limited to pneumonia, cellulitis, influenza, intractable pain, and COPD exacerbation •> 16 bed. Mix of all patients from other units •> Ratios : 1:4 or 1:5 for med surg, depends on patient acuity and census, ratios are mandated by state of CA •> Float requirements : will float to all med surg units within scope of skill •> Schedule/ Weekend requirements : typically every other weekend rotation •> EMR – note if required/ preferred : epic is EMR, preferred if traveler has that exp •> Scrub Info : any color scrubs, will get detailed info with first day info Required upon submission: •> MUST HAVE CURRENT CA LIC AT TIME OF SUBMISSION •> Years of experience required : 2+ •> Special skills required : med surg/tele experience (completed with in the last 12 months •> Certs required : BLS and ACLS •> No gaps in work history greater than 30 days •> Work history must include number of Facility beds and Trauma levels Preferred: •> Prev travel: Not required but preferred •> EMR;EPIC; Experience preferred. Additional Unit Specific Information: Orientation is completed on assigned shift (i.e. nights).
