As a valued member of the Telemetry (Tele) RN team, you will care for patients with a wide range of conditions including complex cases. This unit constantly monitors blood pressure, heart rate, blood oxygen level and cardiac electrical activity of patients on the unit, utilizing specialized equipment. RN’s will mainly care for patients recovering from heart conditions or cardiac surgery. The RN coordinates, provides, and directs patient teaching activities and coordinates the care provided by health team members. Essential Job Functions • Conducts initial and ongoing patient assessment, analyzes assessment data, creates a plan of care, implements treatment, and evaluates treatment effectiveness • Administers medications in a safe manner consistent with the State of Practice and Bon Secours Mercy Health policies and procedures. • Serves as point of contact for patient’s care coordination throughout hospital departments. • Acts as a patient safety advocate by participating in ongoing quality improvement in the department. • Serves as patient advocate in collaboration with spiritual care, palliative care, and ethics. • Serves as a point of care with care coordination and family members or caregivers. • Clinically manages patients with multi-system organ failure and/or multisystem trauma. • Using the AACN Synergy Model, restores, supports, promotes, rehabilitates, or palliates to maintain the physiologic, psychologic, and psychosocial stability of patients across the lifespan. • Synthesizes and prioritizes information in order to take immediate and decisive evidence-based, patient-focused action using clinical judgement and clinical inquiry. • Anticipates and responds with confidence and adapts to rapidly changing patient conditions. • Responds to the unique needs of the patients and families coping with unanticipated illness or injury and treatment and advocate for their choices in quality of life. • BSMH nurses are expected to practice and deliver care in accordance with the core concepts and intention of the BSMH Nursing Professional Practice Model. This is a 24-bed med-surg/tele unit at the Barberton campus. Primarily providing care for medical patient that require telemetry monitoring. Patient population could also include progressive care level patients which include cardiovascular treatment plans involving medication drips as well as neurological patients requiring frequent NIH assessments. COVID and other isolation patients may be part of the patient population on this unit. Candidates need ACLS/BLS/NIH and good telemetry background to qualify. Ratios are running 1:5/6 ratios. Float Required. Solid Black scrubs required.

This is a fast-paced cardiac tele 33-bed unit. Float required. Looking for travelers with charge nurse experience and willing to take charge while on shift. Requires Interviews. Please send us days/times nurse is available along with phone number for the manager to call. Ratios 1:5/6

This is a 17-bed Med-Surg/Tele unit specializing in epilepsy monitoring and medical overflow. Need a strong nurse with 2+ years of experience. Nurse will be floating between 3 North and 3 West. RN’s MUST be able to draw blood and start IV’s. Nurse will be expected to work as a charge nurse for some shifts
