Joe R. & Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San AntonioThe Division of Gastroenterology in the Department of Medicine, Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio seeks a full time academic Gastroenterology (GI) Clinician/Educator at the Assistant Professor rank to enhance our missions in both patient care and teaching.  The successful candidate will provide and contribute to the delivery of inpatient GI consultation and inpatient endoscopy services performed at University Hospital. The candidate will also participate in outpatient GI consultation and endoscopy services delivered both at the Robert B. Green Campus of University Health System, our main hospital system partner, and at the Medical Arts & Research Center, the home of the UT Health Physicians academic clinical practice. These positions enhance our missions in both patient care and teaching. Successful candidates will provide and contribute to the delivery of excellent general gastroenterology Inpatient/Outpatient consultations and Inpatient/Outpatient endoscopy services at our University Health System Main Hospital, Multispecialty and Research Hospital and our ambulatory surgical centers.The division comprises of talented faculty, mid-level providers and a large (13 GI fellows, 1 Advanced Endoscopy Fellow) trainees program.
