Amazing opportunity to be the Dean of Nursing at Baptist Health College Little Rock, in Arkansas!


The Position 

  • The Dean of Nursing will provide vision, leadership, and overall management for the college's Registered Nursing Program, Practical Nursing Program, and Patient Care Technician Program.
  • This position will report directly to the President of the college and manage a team of approximately 77 FTEs.
  • This leader will spearhead initiatives to boost program enrollment. Additionally, they will work to expand the range of offered programs, including the introduction of a BSN program. Finally, this leader will enhance the college's capability to offer online education.
  • The ideal candidate will be a leader with prior experience as a Dean or Associate Dean. They should be a creative thinker, open to innovative approaches. Comfort and respect for working in a faith-based environment is essential. The ability to manage diverse personalities without micro-managing is crucial. Maintaining an open-door policy and providing strong support for the staff are key attributes.


Requirements

  • BSN/MSN required; Doctorate degree highly preferred.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in nursing leadership. Including experience with nursing education, including curriculum design, program assessment, compliance with accreditation and licensure requirements, and faculty development.
