State Forensic Examiner Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Forensic Pathologist to join our team and make a significant impact as a State Forensic Examiner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Case Management: Oversee approximately 200-250 autopsy cases annually from the western 32 counties of North Dakota.
• Public Health Focus: Benefit from North Dakota’s low crime rate, which allows for a greater emphasis on public health within death investigations.

Candidate Qualifications:

• BC in Forensic Pathology preferred, but not required.
• Inquisitive nature, strong analytical skills, and the ability to maintain professional detachment.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary Range: $350,000 base salary
• Hiring Bonus: Up to $75,000
• Moving Expenses: Reimbursement up to $5,000 with appropriate documentation.
• Health Benefits: and Retirement Plans: 401(k) options available.
• Continuing Medical Education: Time and allowance provided for professional development.
• Paid Time Off: 24 days of PTO plus 10 paid holidays.
