Interim Director, Total Rewards Needed in Binghamton, NY!


The Position

  • An Interim Director of Total Rewards is needed to shape and lead the organization's rewards strategy to attract, retain, engage, and motivate employees.
  • Reports to the Vice President of Human Resources.
  • Key responsibilities include developing competitive and compelling compensation structures to attract top talent, managing cost-effective health and well-being initiatives aligned with company culture and employee needs, and coordinating annual performance reviews and benefits enrollment activities.
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in compensation and benefits strategy, a strong operational focus, and the ability to develop and implement scalable rewards programs. Must be highly organized, collaborative, and hands-on, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.
  • This position is open to a remote leader.

Requirements

  • MBA required.
  • Ten-plus years of HR leadership experience, with expertise in total rewards strategy.
  • Experience in global compensation strategies and change initiatives preferred.

Compensation Details

  • Compensation Range: $155,000 to $165,000 annually.
  • The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
  • The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
