VIT/IR Tech needed asap for 13 weeks
REQUIRED SKILLS: Under the direction of a Radiologist, specializes in the performance of procedures of an invasive nature to aid in the evaluation of pathological entities as prescribed by a physician.
-High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required.
-Must maintain required hours of continued medical education.
Must maintain a Healthcare Provider certification (BLS).
-Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) with the advanced registry in one of the following:
--Cardiac-lnterventional Radiography (CI).
--Vascular- lnterventional Radiography (VI).
--Cardiovascular-lnterventional Radiography (CV).
Minimum 3 years previous experience, Previous experience in a Trauma Level 1 facility, Cath Lab experience, BLS and ARRT certifications. Need candidates to work as an IR Tech - not gen xray Highly Preferred: Additional ARRT specialization certifications.
