The Position
- The Interim Manager, General Pediatrics-PICU, will be responsible for the oversight of day-to-day operations throughout the 33-bed Pediatric unit and 12-bed PICU unit.
- The Interim Manager will have oversight of multiple nursing services throughout the department including respiratory illness/failure, orthopedic surgeries including scoliosis, fractures, congenital repairs, diabetes, and cranial surgeries.
- This leader will collaborate closely with physicians, nursing, social work, case management, pharmacy, and other ancillary departments to ensure optimal patient care.
- Ideal candidates will be collaborative leaders who will develop, maintain, and foster positive working relationships and will lead onboarding and training initiatives throughout the department.
- Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.
Requirements
- BSN is required.
- Active compact RN license is required.
- Active BLS and/or PALS certification is required.
- A minimum of five years of relevant nursing experience is required.
Compensation Details
- Compensation Range: $145,000 to $155,000 annually.
- The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
- The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
