JOB DETAILS

Patient Ratio- 2:1 in CCU, 3:1- 4:1 max in IMCU
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (may be 3 shifts in a 4 week period if staffing allows)
Unit Description: 24 bed mixed ICU/IMCU. Assignments typically broken down into CCU (2:1) or IMCU (3:1, 4:1 max if overflows). Epic EMR, Spacelabs bedside monitoring, Alaris IV pumps.
Duties and Responsibilities: Care of critical patients including but not limited to vents, trachs, titrating drips, invasive hemodynamic monitoring, various tubes and drains. Experience with TTM, IAPB, and/or CRRT preferred but not required. Care of IMCU/stepdown patients including but not limited to frequent monitoring of vs, chest tubes, various other tubes and drains, insulin drips, various cardiac drips.

REQUIREMENTS

Registered Nurse, ICU
Experience: 2 years
Licenses: RN(Compact Accepted)
Certifications: ACLS(Copy needed); BLS(Copy needed)
SSN Required
DOB Required
References: 1 Reference in entire work history

2 years of Critical Care experience required

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

1 year of IMCU/Stepdown experience highly preferred.
