Piedmont Columbus Regional, located in Columbus, Georgia, is actively seeking a dynamic and collaborative Clinical NICU Manager to become an invaluable addition to their exceptional team! 


The Position

  • The Clinical NICU Manager will be responsible for the oversight of the day-to-day operations throughout the 43-bed level III NICU within Piedmont Columbus Regional.  
  • Reporting to the Director of Women’s/Children’s Services, the Clinical NICU Manager will oversee approximately 85+ FTEs and will focus on ongoing departmental initiatives including quality, patient care, and team culture throughout the department. 
  • The Clinical NICU Manager will have additional oversight of the 15-bed Antepartum Unit, Labor/Delivery, and will collaborate with the 30-bed Children’s Hospital in regards to inpatient pediatric needs. 
  • Seeking a skilled NICU leader who will bring experience with managing pediatrics/NICU operations, strong communication skills, and approachability to create a seamless and collaborative stream of communication.  
  • This leader will collaborate closely with neighboring departments including human resources, operations, quality, and patient/physician and staff satisfaction to ensure departmental expectations and performance are properly aligned with the organization. 
  • Ideal candidates will possess strong clinical expertise and proven leadership skills. They must be highly collaborative, adept at building relationships across all levels of staff, and skilled in coaching and managing personnel to drive team success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required. 
  • Active GA and/or compact RN license is required. 
  • A minimum of three years of nursing experience working within an acute care setting is required. 
  • A minimum of one year of relevant leadership experience is required.
