Interim Lab Director Needed in Fort Mohave, AZ!

The Position

• An Interim Lab Director is needed to lead laboratory operations and ensure regulatory compliance during a leadership transition.
• Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this leader will oversee a team of 14 FTEs.
• Key responsibilities include maintaining operational stability, overseeing lab services (including blood bank and microbiology send-outs), and supporting preparations for an upcoming regulatory re-survey.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MLT or MT work, proven director-level leadership, and prior interim experience. Must be highly organized, patient-focused, and adaptable to changing needs. Excellent communication skills are essential.
• Must be available to start within 2–3 weeks of acceptance.

Compensation Details:

• Compensation Range: $160,000 to $170,000 annually.
• The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
• The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
